The Accountancy Board is pleased to announce the issue of its 2023 Annual Report.

By virtue of Legal Notice 41 of 2024, the Minister has issued the Accountancy Profession (General Accounting Principles for Small and Medium-Sized Entities)(Amendment) Regulations.

By virtue of Legal Notice 299 of 2023, the Minister has issued the Accountancy Profession (General Accounting Principles in Respect of Certain Eligible Entities Related to the Business of Insurance) Regulations.

In terms of Article 9 of the Accountancy Profession Act (Cap. 281), the Accountancy Board hereby recognises the Malta Institute of Accountants as an approved accountancy body for accountants in Malta.

The Accountancy Board in collaboration with the Malta University Consulting Ltd will be holding an External Audit Reviewers Course.
