The Accountancy Board will continue to accept the ACCA qualification as a course of theoretical instruction in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the granting of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) warrant in Malta post-Brexit in the same way as it had been accepted prior to Brexit, and this subject to the qualification being inclusive of the Maltese Law and Taxation variants.

The Accountancy Board has approved five (5) reprimands published on an anonymous basis on 14 April 2021.

The Accountancy Board refers to recent comments made in the media to the effect that no action has yet been taken by it with respect to proposals for change submitted to it by the Malta Institute of Accountants.
